The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight to the Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM), ensuring that the Commission effectively delivers on its mandate as the national communications regulator.

 

Appointed by the Minister under Section 6 of the Public Enterprises (Control and Monitoring) Act, 1989, the Board is responsible for promoting good governance, accountability, and institutional performance. It guides the Commission’s strategic direction, monitors the execution of its regulatory responsibilities, and ensures that ESCCOM serves the interests of the Kingdom of Eswatini and communications consumers. The Board also advises the Minister on policy matters and developments affecting the communications sector, supporting a regulatory environment that fosters innovation, investment, competition, and consumer protection.
